First Zohar 4 – The Creation of Man

When God invited them… to create… mankind
The Earlier Creatures trembled… and declined.
Then God blazed open… the Gate of the East:
The gate of the light, of the most and the least.

The South showed its full glory… to overtake… the East.
The East overtook the North, and the North cried out for the West,
While the South… took possession of the Crest…
And North and West were the fences of the Garden.
As East drew closer, West spoke as its Warden:

“Let us create… Adam in our image!”
“Let us create… Adam after our likeness!”
“Let Adam… inherit… our guileless rightness!”
“Let Adam… inherit… our righteous brightness!”
“Let Adam… embrace… the four quarters,”
“And let Adam… embrace… the above and the below!”
“And may Adam be blessed… to know!”
“And may Adam be blessed… to harvest… all we sow!”

Earth’s land… and Earth’s sea,
Animals, birds, and fish, and grass and tree,
FINALLY… man is woman! Woman is man!
Meaning: I am YOU, so YOU are ME!
You are me, and I, YOU… forEVER… will BE!
