First Zohar 06 – The Consuming Fire

The Lord our God is a consuming fire
Let us attempt not to draw His ire!
There is no light in the absence of a flame
In the name of the Name:
Truth is My fame!!

A flame emits two colors: white and blue
Blue connects the fuel to the light.
At times the blue turns red
Without losing its destructive might:
It remains a violent fright.
The white is a different matter:
No color ever replaces the latter!
Israel is the fuel that feeds the flame
Yet it is not consumed.
White is our Father in the Heavenly Abode
All in Him subsumed
His loving support will never erode!
Encompassing the white light, hardly perceived,
Is a radiance, a Zohar, when not seen still believed.
The Supreme Essence, wisdom’s mysteries
The Quintessence: forbidden secret histories
The Senescence: the oldest One… (property of being very old)
The Marcescence: forever youthful… (retaining leaves through winter)
The fire of God descends and consumes the sacrifice,
Gathers Cohan, Levite, and Israel, to entice
The Nation to remain loyal to their Royal
Promises Cohan, Levite, and Israel, that never, EVER,
His ties with this Nation He will sever!
