Rise up into holy space!
Dwell in the secret place!
Be safe in the shadow of God!
Say: The Lord is my haven!
Say: The Lord is my fortress!
Say: In Him I will trust!

Then He will deliver you
From hunters and from disease
You will not fear the terror of the night
Nor the arrow that flies by day
Not the evil that comes at nightfall
Nor the destruction that befalls at noon
Thousands may fall around you,
But you He will preserve
Because you will deserve…

For you have made… the Lord your home!

You will witness the end of the wicked
You will see it with your own eyes
You will feel the heat, but from afar
As you listen to their harrowing cries
