Before Anything, there was Nothing, and Nothing was infinite
It aroused itself, became articulate
It engraved itself on high, in a tree-like cluster,
And endowed itself with the most fantastic lustre

A spark, as had not been known before, nor ever seen thereafter
Not of light, but of darkness SO thick: impenetrable to EVEN a thousand wick…
Had there been eyes to see, blinded they would be!

Did it happen? Is it true? Will its value indeed accrue?
As been told, was it real? Are we to know or just to feel?
Are we to bow, or must we kneel?

A cluster of vapor, that formed in formlessness, and therefore would not have been perceived
A twirling wreath, not black, not white, not green, not red…
A cord for mapping the emanation
Each coming incarnation, all events through divine causation
A seemingly endless thread…

Did it happen? Is it true? Will its value indeed accrue?
As been told, was it real? Are we to know or just to feel?
Are we to bow, or must we kneel?

God called upon Nothing to become, and from it, He hewed enormous pillars
That under NO duress will EVER succumb, to support his wings, to support His axillars

A dot that split, and perhaps did not…
A dot that split and perhaps did not: impossible to describe…
According to an ancient plot, designed to lift the Tribe

Did it happen? Is it true? Will its value indeed accrue?
As been told, was it real? Are we to know or just to feel?
Are we to bow, or must we kneel?
