God looked at all that He had made
And, behold, it was good!
And so much more yet to create
God was in a good mood!

God looked at ev’ry following generation
And He saw how good they would be!
God knew He had laid the perfect foundation
Everything as it should be!

But then came man and ruined it all
Across every field he built a wall
On every open path he built a gate
The sharing of Creation he did ablate!


God thought of all that should have been
Of all the beauty that was there to be see
So, God instated Death, and greatly increased
It reach and power
While Himself withdrew to His Earth-scraping Tower

In spite of all the above
God for His Creation still felt love
So He vowed He would accept all who would return
But the stubborn, He vowed, He will burn!
