All transpires in the mystery of faith
The offerings go up in smoke and flames
The judgments are saturated and satisfied.
Leniency and forgiveness are His main attributes
Though, yes, He IS demanding, demanding and stern,
But He is also understanding,
And wants man to learn

Faith is… surrender… to the assumption
That our parents and our teachers all spoke the truth
Even though we KNOW that they never offered proof…

But IF you DO exist,
PLEASE… allow me to ascend!

Our faith is expressed by our adherence to His covenant
But it is tradition more than awe that persuades us
We obey the rules our ancestors obeyed
We live in their old ways, though it may get us slayed
The nations all have gods, and they curse Our
But we do not rage, because we cannot be insulted:
Their gods are fake,
Mere copies of Our, they did make
And possibly, God forbid, we ourselves, our God from the Sumerians did take…
