David exclaimed a song, in praise of God our King
Holy Spirit dwelled upon him, and made him sing:
Earth and her fullness belong to the Lord
Life springs forth from His Heavenly Court

The fullness of Earth is the Presence of God, that fills the Dwelling
A supernal substance, we will be seeing nor smelling
But we will taste it with every breath we take
And all generations, of His Presence we will be telling!

Earth is a holy vessel, a treasure ship filled from bow to stern
A space ship, shooting past like a star, leaving all to yearn
Even Moses, and even David, lived only briefly
Oh, Lord my God… please keep me!
Lord, do not let the wicked abound
For the waters will vanish from the seas
And the rivers will dry up, and no man will find shelter beneath the trees

When the wicked rule, the righteous suffer
Our previous generation, no matter how just,
Will be armour nor buffer
Even our most righteous Noach did not suffice to rescue a whole generation
Oh, the ablation of our long, long! agnation
Will lead only to cessation, to sin… and to cremation…

Not even ten could be found:
A sad fact that must still astound!
Only seven God deemed worthy
Only seven left alive when the Ark ran aground…

When God told Moses to step aside
Lest he be killed with Israel
Moses revolted, chose to bide
Even for life… his people he would not sell

Noach’s father died five years before the flood
Lamech was fortunate, for he did not suffocate in the rising mud
His grandfather died shortly before the waters rose
Methushalach was saved from those horrific woes and throes
And his great-grandfather was transformed four years before he was born
And Chanoch walked with God, and then… he was… no more…
