You stubborn-hearted

Rabbi Abba spoke:
"Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted,
And RETURN!"
Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted,
So far... from righteousness!
Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted,
Only held back by your mindlessness...
Choir:
Far from righteousness is... far from peace:
There is no peace for the wicked!
Avraham tried... to approach God
But it was God who drew him near,
For there is no fate, no coincidence:
For ages this has been clear:
We have to accept our stake,
As we are guided only on the path... we choose to take
God sowed the world, to grow and stand on pillars, that rest on Torah
Only when Israel observes the Commandments
Those pillars will be secure, and the world will endure
Take to heart... the way of David:
A harp hung over his bed
The midnight wind would play a song
And David would study Torah, till the break of dawn
So, rise at midnight, adorn the Shechinah
With Songs of David, with words of Torah!
Far from righteousness is far from peace
Rise at midnight, praise the Shchinah
Open your eyes to the righteous ways
Of David and of Avraham
Be as David, be as Avraham!!!
Far from righteousness is far from peace
There is no peace for the wicked…
