Who Aroused From The East

That time, it was rabbi Yosey who opened!
Who aroused from the East, commanding righteousness to heel?
Who is the supernal expanse, that guides all of Creation:
WHO it is! WHO, with all its … zeal!

Seven expanses above, our Lord created, to reveal the mystery of faith!
But higher yet, He positioned Who, to be the One That Saith!

Now, why is Who called “Who”?
Because, whatever we do,
We cannot see it, not perceive it,
But yet, we cannot ignore, or just leave it…
It illuminates the older Seven,
And that light we, indeed, DO see,
For it illuminates the whole of Heaven,
But it will NEVER illuminate … you or me!

Oh, this sea, so vast and wide,
Innumerable creatures that glide,
As if … in perpetual flight…
Living things small and great, and great and small
Their blessings fill to the ceiling, God’s Holy Hall!
And in their midst, Magnificent and Tall
His Golden Throne stands as the centre of it all

Who aroused from the East, commanding righteousness to heel?
Who is the supernal expanse, that guides all of Creation:
WHO it is! WHO, with all its … zeal!

You, my Lord, made my enemies turn their backs to me,
My foes, my pursuers, You made them stand down, and flee!
If ever I forget this, EVER,
My right hand You may sever!
