Earth Speaks Truth

God created Earth, but it was unstable,
Tottering to and fro, as it lacked a firm foundation!
God announced, he would erect a righteous human,
Who would father a righteous nation.
Thereupon, Earth stood firm: Avraham its blessed fixation!

Yet Earth, though submissive, uttered its truth:
Will not his offspring disobey God’s Commandments?
And, certainly, forgive me, but, in sooth,
Be lured by all foreign enchantments?
For every teaching seek enhancements?

God promised Earth that from Avraham would issue Ya’akov
Who would produce twelve tribes, pure and just
Who will engulf Earth in love and trust
And, therewith, will assure
That God’s Creation will endure!

Sons of Ya’akov, do NOT dare to misgive!
God created life, for it to live!

Earth the word of God did not quietly accept
It feared, and rightly so,
But it also knew, that His promise would be kept
